Hormouz AI (هوش مصنوعی هرمز) is based in the Sharif University Science and Technology Park. Quera, Hooshang, Edna and Karafs use it every day, sending requests through this one API to more than 600 models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and other makers.
You can start as a company or as a developer; the account and key work the same way in both cases.

No. The Hormouz server is in Iran and makes the connection to the providers itself, and you buy credit with an Iranian bank card.
Those accounts and keys are registered to someone at OpenAI or Anthropic, and they get closed when a sign of Iran shows up on them. With Hormouz your account and key are with Hormouz, and you hold no account with those companies.

Any tool that accepts an OpenAI-compatible API, such as the OpenAI SDK, LangChain, the Vercel AI SDK, and the VS Code and Cursor editors. Tools that only speak Anthropic's or Google's own API, such as Claude Code and Gemini CLI, do not connect to Hormouz.
