Your account

To open an account you verify an Iranian mobile number with an SMS code and choose an email and password. The details you enter must be accurate.

You are responsible for your password and API keys. Every request sent with your key is charged to your account. If a key leaks, revoke it on the API keys page.

Company accounts are for legal entities; official invoices are issued to company accounts only.

Credit and payment

Hormouz is prepaid: you buy credit in US dollars and each request is charged against it. You pay in rial at the day’s rate with an Iranian bank card through a bank payment gateway.

Before paying you see the full receipt: the credit value, the service fee, VAT and the gateway fee. The rate is held for a few minutes, and you pay exactly the total shown.

Gift credit (welcome credit and referral gifts) can only be used on the service and cannot be converted to cash.

Prices and usage

Each request is charged at the price published on that model’s page. Model prices can change; a new price applies to requests made after the change.

You can set a spending cap on each key. When a key reaches its cap it stops accepting requests until you raise the cap.

Your usage and charges are shown in the dashboard, on the Usage and Billing pages.

Refunds

If money left your bank account but the payment was not confirmed, the bank returns it within 72 hours; if the payment is confirmed later, the credit is added to your account automatically.

To request a refund of unused credit, contact support. Your request will be reviewed and you will be told the outcome.

Acceptable use

You may not use Hormouz for unlawful purposes, to produce criminal content, to attack or harm other systems, or with someone else’s account or key. Model providers may refuse requests that break their content policies.

If these terms are broken, the account’s access may be limited or suspended.

Availability and model output

We work to keep the service available and publish its status at status.hormouz.net, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

AI model output can be wrong or incomplete. Checking and using it is your responsibility.

Changes to these terms

Any change is published on this page with its date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
