Image generation

Restore Image is a fixed-purpose front on Black Forest Labs' FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] image editor, tuned for a single job. Hand it a scan of an old photograph and it removes scratches, dust and creases, rebuilds faded areas, sharpens soft detail and, for black-and-white originals, adds plausible colour. There is no prompt to write; the task is the model.

Served through Hormouz behind an asynchronous predictions API. The required input is input_image (JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP); optional controls are output_format (png by default, or jpg), seed for a reproducible result, and safety_tolerance from 0 (strictest) to 2 (most permissive, the upstream maximum). The image is mirrored to our storage before the job is forwarded, so a file hosted inside Iran works.

Priced at a flat $0.044 per output image, and the charge is the same whatever the input size or format.
