Kev 4B is a small open-weight decision model from Jared Palmer, built as a LoRA adapter and pointer head on Qwen3.5-4B-Base and using the same request shape as TypeSafe's Jev. Send a state and typed questions (yes/no, multiple choice or score) and it returns a calibrated probability for each in one forward pass. It is the recommended size in the Kev family and is Apache-2.0 licensed. It reads up to 8K tokens of state per request.
Through Hormouz it is reached at POST /v1/alpha/decisions with your ordinary API key. The request carries a state and the questions, and the reply comes back typed, so your code branches on the numbers instead of parsing a sentence. You pay only for input, at $0.042 per million tokens; the answer itself is free. There is no fixed monthly fee.
Hormouz provides stable access to the model from inside Iran, with no foreign credit card or circumvention tooling required.
