Topaz Labs Video Upscale takes a clip you already have and rebuilds it at a higher resolution. It is the upscaling technology used in professional post-production, and it works on existing footage rather than generating anything new.
You supply a video file, a target resolution of 720p, 1080p or 4K, and a target frame rate between 15 and 60. There is no prompt and nothing to describe — the model handles the rest.
Billing follows the amount of work the model reports for your job, so a short clip typically costs around $0.10–$0.20 and a longer or higher-resolution one costs more. The figure is measured after the job completes, so you pay for the work actually done rather than an estimate.
Because the length of the result comes from the file you upload rather than from a setting, Hormouz reserves an amount that covers a typical job and returns the unused balance as soon as the real figure is known. Hormouz provides stable access from inside Iran, with no foreign credit card or circumvention tooling required.

- How much does video upscaling cost?
- The model reports the amount of work it did and Hormouz bills that, so a short clip typically costs around $0.10–$0.20 and a long or 4K one costs more. Because the figure is measured rather than estimated, you pay for the job actually performed. Current rates are shown in the Hormouz dashboard.
- Why is more reserved from my balance than the final charge?
- The model has no duration setting — the length of the result comes from the file you upload, so it cannot be known when the job is accepted. Hormouz reserves enough to cover a typical job and releases the difference as soon as the real figure is reported.
- What resolutions and frame rates are supported?
- Target resolutions are 720p, 1080p and 4K, and target frame rate can be anywhere from 15 to 60.
- Does it need a prompt?
- No. Upscaling takes only the video file and your target settings. There is no text input at all.
